Welcome to the IT Support section of the website

IT Support is responsible for:

  • Desktop computer and laptop hardware support
  • Windows user accounts management
  • Staff and Student email accounts
  • Help with connecting to eduroam (wi-fi)
  • General help relating to IT use

The CIS Department

The CIS department are responsible for issues and support with:

Does your timetable not appear in Student Advantage? Use an iPhone? Turn the pop-up blocker off so that you can view pop-ups! Open Settings, find Safari (/your browser), find Block pop-ups and turn this to OFF. Your browser will ask whether you want to allow pop-ups instead of suppressing them by default.

Free Microsoft software and applications

The student Office365 account gives you the ability to install the latest Edition of the Office applications, log into your Office 365 account on your device to install these applications (Windows, Mac OSX and IOS only). As we are a member of the Microsoft Imagine programme, Staff and Students at BHASVIC are entitled to FREE Microsoft software, which includes Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems and much more! You will need to use your normal network username and password to login - if you have any issues please contact IT Support.
